In the Christ Tradition, Jesus is seen as the Lamb of G-D [Latin,Agnus Dei], who gave his life for the world. Mystically, he did, for Love. Contemplatively, we enter into this Experience of Grace. We, of whatever Path, see that we, too, are the Lamb of G-D. We give our life for the world, for those our friends, for those our enemies. We enter into the Mystery of Holy Communion, to be Holy Communion. We become Whom we receive; who we are, then, One we offer. In this, we find Love, we find Peace, we Become Communion-With all Creation. We enter into, by loving surrender, the holiness of Grace for Creation. This is part of being in the Body of the CosmicChrist.

One day I wrote, by mistake, "I offered Holy Communion one Sunday at the jail where I serve as Holy Communion." I meant to write, "... where I serve as Chaplain." Yet, I thought how true. Yes, I offered Holy Communion where I serve as Holy Communion. And, yes, I mused, that is why we are each here on this Earth: to be Holy Communion serving Holy Communion.

I encourage you to muse upon these words from the Letter to the Philippians 3, by St. Paul, from the First Century. Apply them to your relationship with G-D, as you understand that:
7 I once thought these things [that made me appear righteous] were valuable. Now, I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. 8 Yes, everything else is worthless compared with the infinite blessing of personally-knowing Christ Jesus, my Master. For Christ I have let go all else, esteeming it as garbage, so that I could receive Christ 9 and enjoy Oneness with Christ.
I no longer rely on my own righteousness through obeying religious law. Rather, I have become righteous through trusting-intimacy in Christ. For Grace's way of aligning us with Grace-Itself depends on this trusting-intimacy.
10 I want to personally, intimately know Christ and experience the awesome power that raised Christ from the dead. I want to suffer with Christ, sharing mystically in Christ's death, 11 so that surely I will experience mystically the resurrection from the dead with Christ.
